So much for secrets.

I’m trying to post as much as I can now because I’m on dr’s orders to stay in the house for a few days and this is the best chance for me to get my old stuff up before I’m back to work, but it seems that either a few people have randomly found my email and are just writing now about things from the old site, or they’ve found this tumblr.

I have no problem with either of the above, but seriously: HOW DID YOU FREAKIN FIND THIS? How? It boggles my mind - literally.

I’ve received 14 emails within the past hour from people most definitely not on my contacts list and instead of responding to each of them individually, I’ll do it here just to give you email writers some comfort that you’re not the only arseholes out there. Think of it as my Good Samaritan deed for the New Year.

1. I’m sorry if you really enjoyed the old site, but it’s gone. I may be a “heartless bitch”, may be “up myself”, etc… but it’s not coming back. Sorry.

2. To Mr YouSuckZachKlein - Thank you for the 7 emails but no I don’t know him and since I currently live in Australia and I’m not a techie in any way - note the glee when sorting out the time and difficulty in posting links - the chances of my meeting him are slim to none. If you don’t think he’s a nice guy, fine. I found a recipe on his site and I liked the video of him freaking out - that’s all. If you can’t stand him - write HIM. Stop clogging my damn inbox.

3. If you don’t like me or any others you see on the Internet, I have a simple piece of advice: stop looking at them. No one is forcing you to Google names, follow sites, receive updates. You have chosen to do this on your own and maybe you should think about why.

4. Although I have only lived in Australia for little over 2 years, I am originally from Canada. After living and working for quite some time in the US, I was forced to write using US English and had to train myself out of the British way. Once I moved to Europe, I was consistenly the best English speaker in the group so no one gave a rat’s ass about my spelling. My job involves my writing a multitude of things in some shape or form every single day and I’m trying to train myself to go back to the British way of spelling as that is what is used here. If you don’t like the “u’s”, refer to number #3.

5. Thanks for the offer but the Man Ban is sticking this year. Enough said.

6. Yes, I am indeed going to Bon Jovi and I’m not ashamed of it. They were the mainstay of my grade school and early high school years. Come on - who doesn’t sing at the top of their lungs when “Living on a Prayer” is played in a bar? Sometimes being too cool for school just isn’t cool.

I’m over it. I made a few NY’s resolutions this year and one of them was to stop swearing - a filthy habit picked up during the ROT. Although I have broken it on NY’s day and every day since, I’ve just hit it out of the park. Let’s play nice everyone or I’m going to lose it ZK style.
