I think one of the worst parts of breaking up with (or away from) someone is having to adapt/adjust from once feeling like the most important person in their world to feeling like a total inconvenience. Equally frustrating is the fact that almost any attempt made to re-build some level of friendship (or anything of value) is usually misinterpreted as some awkward attempt to rekindle - regardless of who ended the relationship…   — simkoWith this, simko, I almost picked up the phone and called the ROT just to give him the benefit of the doubt.  But then I stopped myself because although most sane people do just want to maintain a friendship with those they were once in love/like/lust with, a precious few are just plain batshit crazy.
